Back to School Bash: Please join us at Ghormley Park from 6:00-8:00 this Friday evening for a Back to School Bash! Pack a picnic or purchase dinner from one of our student groups: the student council will be selling sausages and chips for $5; Thresh Catering will be selling chili ($5) and cornbread with honey butter ($2), proceeds benefiting your Knights volleyball team; and the activities department will be selling water, soda, Gatorade, and candy bars. The 7th-12th grade classes will be hosting games and activities for kids, including a bouncy castle and balloon animals! Bring chairs or blankets, and kick off the new school year with us!
Applications for 2024/25. New student applications for next school year will open up one year early, on the first day of school, August 21st at 6am. There is usually competition for preschool seats.

Meet your Teacher: This year we are scheduling time for each elementary student (and parents!) to come in, meet their teacher, drop off materials, and set up their desk before the first day of school. This is an open house event during the scheduled times:

11:30-1:00p Both morning preschool classes. (Nazarene Church)
1:00-2:30p Both afternoon preschool classes. (Nazarene Church)
12:00-2:00p Kindergarten, Logos East (Nazarene Church)
12:00-2:00p 1st grade, Logos South (2305 S. Main)
2:00-4:00p 2nd grade, Logos South (2305 S. Main)
2:00-4:00p 3rd – 6th grade, Logos West (110 Baker St.)
Elementary Dress Uniform: The first day of school will be a dress uniform day (see the school website for details). Students will not need to wear their dress uniforms on Friday of the first week. Dress uniform days will occur only once a week for elementary students due to laundering considerations.
Recess Duty Volunteers at South: We are still looking for volunteers for recess duty this year. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to serve! ————- SECONDARY ————-
New 11th Grade Classes and Teachers: We are pleased to welcome Katie Grauke and Nate Jeschke to the secondary staff. Katie will be teaching Domestic Arts to the 11th-grade girls and Nate will be teaching Combatives to the 11th-grade boys. Both courses are semester-long (half of the 11th-grade class will take the course in the Fall and the other half in the Spring). Boys will need to purchase a mouth guard for combatives. Here is a suggested product.
Secondary Uniform: Secondary students will wear their normal Monday uniform on the first day of school.
Field Day Dress Code: Field Day will be held on Friday, August 25. Field Day is a very active event; in addition, unlike a typical sports competition, students will be doing a wide variety of coed activities and need to dress for individual comfort and the comfort of those around them. Students must wear shorts that come to within a hands-breath of the top of the knee. If students would like to wear shorter shorts, they must wear spandex under them that comes to mid-thigh. This applies to both boys and girls.
New Secondary Student Orientation: For all students and parents new to the secondary school (this includes all 7th graders), there will be a secondary orientation meeting in the Logos Gym from 1-2 pm on Friday, August 18. The presentation will be followed by a self-guided tour of the Logos campus, and then Meet Your Teacher (see below).
Secondary Meet Your Teacher: An Open House for any secondary students and parents: Meet teachers 2-4 pm. Bring your student schedule. (Login to FACTS FAMILY PORTAL….Student…Schedule). This is a great time to find and set up your locker. Locker numbers are now on your student schedule.
