Back to School Bash: On Friday, August 18th we will kick off the school year with a picnic dinner at Ghormley Park for the whole family. There will be food, games for the kids, and a great opportunity to meet Logos families. Stay tuned for more details.
Applications for 2024/25. New student applications for next school year will open up one year early, on the first day of school, August 21st at 6AM. There is usually competition for preschool seats.
Welcome Back Ball: The Student Council will be hosting the Welcome Back Ball on Friday, August 25th. The elementary dance will run from 6:00-7:30pm, with a secondary dance practice following from 7:30-8:00pm. The secondary ball will run from 8:00-10:00pm. The cost will be $5 per student, no more than $15 per family. Parents are encouraged to attend and their admission is free. Attire for balls – Men: dress shirts, ties & slacks; Ladies: knee-length dresses/skirts, modest necklines, no strapless tops, halter tops, or spaghetti straps; Shoes: Clean athletic shoes on the floor only. No dress shoes or high heels. Logos Balls are for Logos students only.
Dress Uniform: The first day of school will be a dress uniform day (see the school website for details). Students will not need to wear their dress uniforms on Friday of the first week. Elementary students will wear their regular M-Th uniforms and secondary students will be in Field Day attire (more information coming) on Friday the 25th. Dress uniform days will occur only once a week due to laundering considerations.
FYI, Moscow High School will be conducting an active shooter drill tomorrow.

Meet your Teacher: This year we are scheduling time for each elementary student (and parents!) to come in, meet their teacher, drop off materials, and set up their desk before the first day of school. This is an open house event during the scheduled times:

Recess Duty Volunteers at South and East: We are still looking for volunteers for recess duty this year. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to serve! ————- SECONDARY ————-
New Secondary Student Orientation: For all students new to the secondary school (this includes all 7th graders), there will be a secondary orientation meeting in the Logos Gym from 1-2pm on Friday August 18. The presentation will be followed by a self-guided tour of the Logos campus and an opportunity for students to meet their teachers 2-4pm.
Knights Creed and Commitment: During the welcome-back assembly on August 21, Mr. Wiggins will ask all students to read and sign the Knights Creed and Commitment which can be viewed here.
Secondary Boys Bible Study Mr. Wiggins will be leading a Bible study for boys on Mondays during lunch starting on August 28. We will be studying JC Ryle’s book Thoughts for Young Men. The book can be purchased at Amazon for $6. Follow this link.
