Back to School Bash: We have made some changes to our regular Back to School Night routine. The week before school starts, we have scheduled time for students and parents to come into the classrooms, meet their teachers, and learn about some of the basics. The Friday before school starts (August 18th) we will kick off the school year with a picnic dinner at Ghormley Park for the whole family. There will be food, games for the kids, and a great opportunity to meet Logos families. Stay tuned for more details.
Uniform Ties for Elementary and Secondary Students: Last year, due to the uniform change, all students were given ties and scarves at the beginning of the year. This year, parents are required to purchase ties and scarves for their students (except for T/Th preschool students who will not need them). Logos does not sell the elementary boys’ ties nor the elementary girls’ crossover ties. Here are the links to the elementary boys’ and girls’ ties.
Secondary ties and scarves may be purchased in the Logos West front office. The boys’ ties are $20 and the girls’ scarves are $15. You may purchase these by cash, check, or by having the charge added to your FACTS account.

Stacie Robinson: We are excited to announce that Miss Robinson will be joining our kindergarten team! Stacie joins us with over eight years of teaching experience and a tremendous amount of God-given ability with young children. She will certainly be an asset to the team at Logos East. If you see Stacie, please be sure to welcome her to the Logos family.
Meet your Teacher: This year we are scheduling time for each elementary student (and parents!) to come in, meet their teacher, drop off materials, and set up their desk before the first day of school. This is an open house event during the scheduled times:

Recess Duty Volunteers at East and South: We are still looking for volunteers for recess duty this year. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to serve! It is such a blessing for teachers to have a short break that you provide! Here is a link to the current schedule. Secondary Class Schedule. Individual Class Rosters are not out yet, but the overall secondary schedule can be found here on the Logos Website.
Senior Option: Proposals for senior internships or dual enrollment classes are due to Mr. Wiggins on August 8th.
New Hires: We are pleased to welcome Johanna Tollefson and Luke Dickson to our secondary team. Johanna will teach Classical Literature (11th grade), Luke will teach Classical History (11th grade).
Secondary Girls’ Bible Study We are looking for a mom or grandmother volunteer to lead the study this year. If you are interested, please contact Mr. Wiggins.

HS Fall Sports begin practice on Monday morning, August 7th. Click the team link for each sport on the Logos Athletics page for information on practice times and locations and contact information for coaches.
JH FB will begin practice on August 14th. JH VB and XC will begin practice on August 22nd.
All Sports Paperwork must be uploaded before students can participate in practice. The Logos Athletics page has instructions for creating your account and uploading physicals and IQ forms.
