Quarter Time Job Opening: Logos is looking for a financial controller. The controller oversees the accounting operations of Logos School. He/she manages accounting records and is responsible for the production of financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, making sure that they fairly and accurately reflect the school’s current financial position. The controller will work with the bookkeeper and the superintendent to formulate budgets and plans for the future financial faithfulness of Logos School. Logos West Elementary Speech Meet: Individual classes will be holding their speech meet in the classrooms tomorrow (Thursday, October 12th). Parents are welcome. Please see last Friday’s classroom H.A.S. for times and details of your student’s classroom speech meet.
Parent/Teacher Conferences: Almost all of the scheduling is complete. A reminder email will be sent out the Monday before conferences. If you have not scheduled yet, please visit this site to do so: http://www.ptcfast.com/
Logos West Assembly: This Friday at 8:35 AM in the Logos West gym, Mr. Becker and Mrs. Anderson’s 6th-grade class will be performing Shakespeare’s Macbeth. The assembly starts with a short recitation by Mrs. Unger’s 4th-grade class. All are welcome!

Secondary Assembly: What is Classical Christian Education? Could you explain it to a friend who has never heard of it? This Friday, October 13th, from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m., there will be a secondary worldview assembly on “Classical Christian Education” presented by Pastor Kirk Brower. Parents are encouraged to come and then take their children out to lunch afterward. We had 70 parents at our last assembly…we’d love to see even more this Friday. (Fathers….take a long lunch and join us!) October 13th is also a Family Friday (half day of school) so secondary students are finished at 12:30.

VB Senior Night: Wednesday, October 11th. Celebrate our senior volleyball players in their last home game. The girls will host St. Maries with JV games at 5:30 and varsity at 7:00 p.m.
WSU Fall Music Festival: The Logos Chamber Choir will participate in the annual WSU Fall Music Festival on Saturday, October 21. The Choir will be performing at Kimbrough Concert Hall at 1:40, and may be selected to perform again at the concluding concert at 3:15. Parents are welcome to attend.
