Drama Production: Join us this week for the varsity drama production of Beauty and the Beast! The production will run October 4-7, beginning at 6:30 p.m. each night (doors open at 5:45 p.m.).
Fight’n Knight Day: Tuesday, October 10, will be a Fight’n Knight Day in support of our Cross Country Teams. They will run at the Logos Invitational on the Elks Golf Course. JH races begin at 4:00, and varsity races at 5:00. Come out and cheer on our Logos Cross Country teams.
Picture Retake Day this Friday: Individual picture retakes for all campuses will take place in the Logos West Fieldhouse this Friday (10/6) from 7:30-9 a.m.
Class Picture Orders: This Friday, October 6th, is the deadline for class picture orders. Return envelopes to the front office of any of the campuses.
Join our Substitute Team!: All parents and grandparents are invited to learn more about supporting Logos teachers in the classroom!

————- ELEMENTARY ————-
Friendship Talks: In grades 1-6, Mr. Becker and Mr. Brockwalder have been giving talks with the students about friendship. Topics discussed include what healthy friendships are and the possible pitfalls of having best friends. The classes also talked together about ways to fix and prevent problems in friendships. These were enjoyable and quick chats with the classes.
Logos South Speech Meet: Next Wednesday, October 11th, is the Logos South Speech Meet. First-grade presentations begin at 8:40; Second-grade presentations begin at 10:30. Please see your child’s HAS for more information.
Logos West Elementary Speech Meet: Individual classes will be holding their speech meet in the classrooms next Thursday, October 12th. Parents are welcome. Please see last Friday’s classroom H.A.S. for times and details of your student’s classroom speech meet.
————- SECONDARY ————
Open Teaching Positions: We are looking to hire experienced teachers to fill an immediate opening teaching 10th-grade Algebra II and 11th-grade Rhetoric for the remainder of the year. Please contact Mr. Wiggins for more information.
Secondary Assembly: Friday, October 13, from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m., there will be a secondary worldview assembly on “Classical Christian Education” by Kirk Brower. Parents are encouraged to come and then take their children out to lunch afterward! (Fathers….take a long lunch and join us!) October 13 is also a Family Friday (half day of school).
PSAT: Next week, the 10th and 11th grades will be taking the PSAT in the morning from 7:30 a.m. to 10:10 a.m. in room 27. Students will take the test according to the following schedule:
Monday, October 9 – 10th grade (all students that have Algebra II first period)
Tuesday, October 10 – 10th grade (all students that have US History first period)
Wednesday, October 11 – 11th grade (all students that have Chemistry first period)
Thursday, October 12 – 11th grade (all students that have Classical Literature first period)
If students are using a personal laptop or tablet, please ensure the PSAT bluebook is uploaded before test day. The bluebook can be accessed here. Please ensure your student brings a power cord for their laptop or tablet.

VB Senior Night: Wednesday, October 11th. Celebrate our senior volleyball players in their last home game. The girls will host St. Maries with JV games at 5:30 and varsity at 7:00 p.m.
