LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – 2023/24 – Update #18 (Jan 3, 2024)

————-  GENERAL  ————-

Re-enrollment will open up for current Logos students next week. It has become clear to the board and administration that we need to prioritize attracting and retaining excellent teachers, especially as our school grows. Toward that end, we have raised tuition. At the same time, Logos remains committed to not turning away one family unable to afford the entire tuition. Our Reduced Tuition Program (RTP) was established to support families who wish to provide their children with a Christian education but need financial assistance to do so. If your family is in need of help, we are committed to working with you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Matt Whitling.

Report Cards for the second quarter will come out next Wednesday (Jan 10) for elementary, and Thursday (Jan 11) for secondary.

————  ELEMENTARY  ———–

Spelling Bee: The 1st – 6th graders will be competing in their classroom spelling bees on February 5th. The Final Showdown for Logos West will take place on February 8th.  The top two in each classroom will compete at 1:00 in the gym.  The top two 2nd-grade students from each class will compete in the Great Room at Logos South on February 9th at 10:30.  Lists and rules are posted on the school website under Academics/Elementary Program/Spelling Bee. Look for more information on your student’s HAS.
