LOGOS SCHOOL Update #14 (Nov 29, 2023)

————-  GENERAL  ————-

Family Friday: Our next half-day will be this Friday, Dec 1.  More info: LINK

Christmas Ball: The 8th grade class will be hosting the Christmas Ball on Friday, December 1st.  The elementary dance will run from 6:00-7:30 pm, with a secondary dance practice (6th graders invited) following from 7:30-8:00 pm. The secondary ball will run from 8:00-10:00 pm.  The cost will be $5 per student, no more than $15 per family. Parents are encouraged to attend and their admission is free. Attire for balls – Men: dress shirts, ties, & slacks or dark wash jeans.  Ladies: below-the-knee-length dresses/skirts, modest necklines, no strapless tops, halter tops, or spaghetti straps. Shoes: Clean athletic shoes on the floor only. No dress shoes or high heels.  Logos balls are for current Logos students, parents, and grandparents only. Parents are welcome to bring younger-than-school-age children, but they will need to stay with them throughout the evening.

Winter Clothes: Be sure to send your children to school with warm clothes.  We will have recess outside unless it is raining hard or below 20 degrees.  This may be a good time to make sure that winter clothing is labeled – just in case!

————-  SECONDARY ————

Worldview Assembly:  Our next worldview assembly will be on Friday, December 1, from 11:45 to 12:30 in the Logos Field House.  Pastor Toby Sumpter will address the student body on the topic of “Life Between the Sexes.”  All parents are encouraged to attend and spend the afternoon with their kids.

Final Exams: Final exams will be held December 18-20 (Monday-Wednesday). The detailed schedule for finals will be published next week.
