Picture Make-up/Retake Day: If your student (from any campus) missed individual picture day or if you would like them to have their picture retaken, our make-up picture day will be tomorrow, October 6th from 7:45 AM – 9:00 AM in the Logos West gym.
Worldview Assembly: Our next worldview assembly will be on Tuesday, October 11 from 12:40 – 1:30 pm. Pastor Kirk Brower will be talking with our secondary students about evolution. Dads, we would love you to join us again for lunch and fellowship prior to the assembly (12:00-12:35 PM). We will have Wooster’s Pizza ($2 a slice) and drinks (complimentary). Please RSVP to Logos West by Friday.
Fire Drill: Logos West will conduct a fire drill on Thursday, October 6 during 2nd period (9:30).
Teacher Development Day: On Friday, October 14 there will be a teacher workday with no classes. The last day of the quarter is Thursday, October 13th.
————- ELEMENTARY ————-
Helpful Uniform Reminder of the Month: As the weather gets cooler, students begin to wear sweaters more often. For elementary ladies, the sweater colors are red (not maroon), navy blue (not a heather mix), and white (not creamy white). These can be a pullover, vest or cardigan. For elementary gentlemen, the sweater color is navy only.
Speech Meet for Logos South will be on Wednesday, October 12th. Logos West will be on Thursday, October 13th. Please see your student’s HAS for more information. Parents are welcome to attend. No videoing or younger siblings, please.
Study Tip of the Week: From this point on, the Speech Meet judges will not have a copy of each student’s selection in front of them. If your child misses a word or even a whole line from his selection, the best thing to do is – smile and keep on reciting. If the student continues on confidently after a mistake, there’s a good chance that no one else will even notice.

PSAT: 10-11th Grades will be taking the PSAT on Wednesday, October 12th from 8:25 am-12:00 pm.
————- ACTIVITIES ————
Logos School presents “The Sound of Music” on October 5-8. Opening night is tonight, with other performances Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Doors will open at 6 pm, and the show will start at 7 pm. The doors will close for 10 minutes during the opening scene. Tickets will also be available at the door each night. Prices are as follows: $30/family of 4 or more, $10/adult, and $5/student.
Homecoming. Our Logos Homecoming Game will be on October 15th when our varsity football team hosts the Troy High School Trojans at 7:00 pm on Logos Field. Make plans to bring your family to the field to support the Knights. Look for more details about Homecoming activities coming soon.
