Cryptocurrency: We can now safely and securely accept cryptocurrency gifts through the Engiven platform. This platform enables nonprofits to receive cryptocurrency donations and convert them into usable fiat currency, such as US dollars. Back-to-School Picnic: On Friday, August 23rd, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., we will kick off the school year with a picnic dinner for the whole family at Ghormley Park (504 Home Street, Moscow). Pack a picnic or purchase dinner at the park.  Our 7th-12th grade students will host games and activities.

Applications for 2025/26: New student applications for the next school year will open one year early, on the first day of school, August 26th, at 6 AM. There is usually competition for preschool seats, which can impact your child’s ability to get into Logos if he is not a student already.

Welcome Back Ball: The Student Council will host the Welcome Back Ball on Friday, August 30th.  The elementary dance will run from 6:00-7:30 pm, with a secondary dance practice following from 7:30-8:00 pm (6th-grade students may attend this practice). The secondary ball will run from 8:00-10:00 pm.  The cost will be $5 per student, no more than $15 per family. Parents are encouraged to attend, and admission is free for them. Attire for balls – Men: dress shirts, ties & slacks; Ladies: knee-length dresses/skirts, modest necklines, no strapless tops, halter tops, or spaghetti straps; Shoes: Clean athletic shoes on the floor only. No dress shoes or high heels.  Logos Balls are for Logos students only.  

Milk:  Milk is available for students at Logos West and South.  The cost is $40 per student per semester or 50¢ per milk.  To purchase milk for your student(s) for the semester, email Jesla Greenwood to add the charge to your FACTS account, or bring cash or check (payable to Logos School) to either front office—with any questions.

Elementary Dress Uniform: The first day of school will be a dress uniform day (see here for details).  Students will not need to wear their dress uniforms on Friday of the first week. Dress uniform days will occur only once a week due to laundering considerations.

Meet your Teacher: This year, we are scheduling time for each elementary student (and parents!) to come in, meet their teacher, drop off materials, and set up their desks before the first day of school. This is an open house event during the scheduled times:

Recess Duty Volunteers: We are looking for volunteers for recess duty this year. This typically involves supervising students for 15 minutes during morning or afternoon recess. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to serve!

Secondary Uniforms: The secondary uniform guidelines can be found here.  Mrs. Miller heads up uniform enforcement and has compiled some additional tips, which can be found here.  If you have specific uniform questions or need further guidance, please contact her at 208-596-9564.

Secondary Class Schedules and Lockers:  Individual class schedules and locker assignments should be available in FACTS by the end of the day this Friday, August 16th.  The general secondary schedule can be found here.  

New Secondary Student Orientation: For all students new to the secondary school (this includes all 7th graders), there will be a secondary orientation meeting in the Logos Gym from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, August 22. A self-guided tour of the Logos campus will follow the presentation.

Knights Creed and Commitment:  During the welcome-back assembly on August 27, Mr. Wiggins will ask all students to read and sign the Knights Creed and Commitment, which can be viewed here.

JH Sports: JH FB and JH XC will start practice on August 19th, and JH VB will begin on August 27th.  Coach contact information and practice times can be found at the link for each activity.  Information on required forms and where to upload them can be found here.
