LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – Summer #1 (June 7, 2023)

————-  GENERAL  ————-

Logos Office Hours this summer are: 

  • West Campus:  9am – 12pm Monday through Thursday.  Closed Fridays.  

  • West Campus closed the week of July 3-7.  

  • East Campus and South Campus are closed all summer. 

————-  ELEMENTARY  ————-

Elementary Teacher & Classmate requests will be made in the middle of July.  

Afton Frazier:  We are excited to announce that Afton has been hired as an Administrative Assistant at Logos East!  Afton will be partnering with Julie Sawyer and will be working two mornings a week.  If you see Afton, please congratulate her. 

Marghie Christensen: We are very pleased to announce that Marghie has been hired to teach preschool in the afternoons next year!  We are excited to have her serving our youngest Logos students.  If you see Marghie, please congratulate her. 

Sarah Hartley:  We are excited to announce that Sarah Hartley has been hired to teach kindergarten next year! We are thankful to have her join the incredible kindergarten team at Logos East.  If you see Sarah, please congratulate her.  

————-  SECONDARY ————-

Elective Selection for secondary students will be made at the end of July.  

Senior Course Options: 12th Graders who will be participating in senior course options (college/online courses and internships) should be thinking about their proposals for next year. These are due on August 15th to Mr. Wiggins via email, or earlier if possible. See the school webpage for details.  

CJ Bowen:  We are excited to announce that CJ has been hired to teach European History and New Testament Survey next year.  CJ is returning to Logos School having taught New Testament previously.  He recently earned his Master of Divinity from Duke.

Lisa Bowen:  We are excited to announce that Lisa has been hired to teach European Literature and 7th-grade Latin next year.  Lisa is an NSA grad and will return to Moscow, with her husband CJ, from North Carolina this summer.
