Bookkeeper Opening  We have an opening for 2022-23 for someone with experience in Quickbooks, Excel, Google Docs, payroll, accounts receivable/payable, budgeting, and reporting. This is a ½ to ¾ time position (flexible hours) that comes with a 50% discount in Logos tuition. Salary dependent upon experience and qualifications. Our beloved Mrs. Knecht will be stepping back to ¼ time next year and will help with passing the baton in this important role. Send resume to Matt Whitling.

Spelling Bee: The 3rd – 6th graders on the main campus will be competing in the in-school spelling bee on February 4 at 1:00 (aka The Big Showdown).  Parents are welcome to attend.

Preschool-1st Midterms:  Your child’s teacher will be sending a brief, mid-quarter assessment for you to complete with your child at home.  You will also receive your child’s midterm report.  Please sign and return the bottom portion of the midterm; the report is yours to keep.  The completed assessment and bottom (signed) portion of the midterm are due Wednesday, February 9th. Thank you!

2nd–6th Grade Midterms: A blank midterm form will come home this week. Please log on to RenWeb and help your child complete it. Our goal is to encourage families to check out RenWeb and to help students use the midterm to plan for improvement in any areas that may need work. Please return these forms by next Wednesday, February 9.

This Friday’s assembly at South opens with Mrs. Nuttbrock’s 2nd-grade class play.  We will begin at 8:30 a.m.  Parking is available in front of the school and in the Canon Press warehouse parking lot. Please do not park along the highway or the loop behind the school. We look forward to seeing you!

Class Recitations at South:  Due to parking constraints, recitations will not take place during our assemblies.  Kelly Driskill has volunteered to video and post our recitations on Facebook and Instagram for you to enjoy.  Thank you for understanding.
