LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – 2017 – #24
General
Spring Break: Just a reminder that Spring Break is a two week vacation, March 6-17. Have a wonderful time with your family!
Elementary
Preschool 2017-18: We are making plans to open up a M/W/F afternoon preschool class (12:30-3:10 PM). If your child has already been accepted into one of the morning classes and you would prefer this new afternoon offering, please let me know.
Parent/Teacher Conferences (March 23 & 24): All elementary families will receive an email this week with details on how to sign up. We are looking forward to meeting with you.
Promotion Policy: As we head toward the end of the 3rd quarter, I thought it would be helpful to include a reminder about the elementary promotion policy. This is especially important if your child has earned an “F” in any subject. Please see the attachment for details. Don’t hesitate to call with any questions or clarifications.
Secondary
Spring Sports: High school lacrosse and track begin February 24. Both teams have had preseason meetings. See Mr. Carnahan if you need more details. Athletes need to have earned a GPA of 2.5 or higher in the previous quarter in order to compete.
Rhetoric Speech Meet (10th-12th Grade): The meet will take place February 24. More details are available on the school website.
