Uniforms: Mrs. Jenny Story has graciously volunteered to be the liaison between Logos and Lands’ End. Feel free to contact her if you have questions about which Lands’ End items fit the Logos uniform policy.
Elementary
New Elementary Family Orientation: For those parents who are new to the elementary or others who would like a refresher regarding “Life at Logos Elementary School”, you are cordially invited to our New Elementary Family Orientation. It will take place Friday, August 23 at 3:00 PM in the auditorium. Students and parents are welcome to attend.
Secondary
International Student Orientation: I am pleased to announce that Mrs. Paula Jones will serve as our International Student Director this year. She will be conducting an orientation for all international students on Friday, August 23 from 12:00-1:00 in the auditorium. Families who are hosting an international student are encouraged to come to this orientation as well.
New Secondary Student Orientation: All 7th graders and other new secondary students and their parents are welcome to come Friday, August 23 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. This is a time to learn about life at Logos and get set for the new school year.
Sports Physicals: If you have a 9th or 11th Grade student who is planning to participate in sports next year, he/she will need to have a physical before the season begins (especially time sensitive for volleyball and cross country). See the school webpage for the correct form to bring to your doctor.
Boarding Opportunities: The following students have been accepted to Logos and are looking for a boarding situation for 2013-14. It is not uncommon for international students to pay upwards of $9,000 per nine months for room and board. A number of local families are charging ~$6,000 for the school year which is comparatively a good deal.
Seonghun Park (11th Grade)
Hi, my name is Seonghun Park( or Eric Park ). I’m from South Korea, and I am currently a junior (18 years old) at Logos School. Michelle Kown (11th Grade)
Dear Sisters and Brothers, Michelle Kwon is looking for a good home. Michelle’s brother, Michael, graduated from Logos last year and is now attending New St. Andrews College. She has loved Jesus since she was a baby. She has been accepted to attend Logos as an 11th grader. She wants to learn good character because she knows it is very important to look to Jesus Christ’s personality. Michelle is fluent in English and has been homeschooled for 9 years.
