LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – 2012/13 – #29

General

Logos Summer Camps: Summer camp registration is open. See website for details.

Caller for the Balls: We have been very thankful for the delightful time that students and parents have had at the school balls over the past few years. As we move forward and plan for next year, we are exploring the possibility of having someone who oversees and calls the balls. This person would be compensated by the school and the time commitment would be very reasonable, 3-4 balls per year. Please contact me if you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity.

Uniforms: Just a few reminders for the spring: Now that the weather is nice, elementary students are welcome to wear shorts to school. Boots and moccasins are no longer necessary or appropriate in the elementary or secondary, and please save sandals for non-school activities.

Secondary

Mock Trial: The team leaves for Indianapolis today to compete in the national championships. Please pray for safe travels and success.

Finals Schedule: We are about 3 weeks out from final exams. Please see the attachment for the secondary finals schedule.

Boarding Opportunity: We have a current Logos student who is looking for a boarding situation for next year. Please see her self-introduction below. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact me for details.

Hi my name is Alicia Jeong. I am from Korea and  I am 18 years old and in the 11th grade full time student at Logos School.

I was raised by godly parents and I grew up with one older brother. When I was in Korea, I used to go to presbyterian Church but now here in Moscow, Idaho I go to Trinity Reformed church with the Schlects. I have met the Lord at the age of 15 and I have a good relationship with God. I just wanted to say God has blessed me in so many different ways especially  to me with Logos school and the Schlects. He directed my path to come to Logos School and has given me an incredibly good family to live with almost for 2 years. So I have been living with the Schlects since the beginning of my sophomore year in Logos School.

Unfortunately, they are not having any more boarders starting from next school year so I am looking for a family who would welcome me as a part of their family. Thank you for your time and if you are interested in having me as a boarder please contact me through my email. My email address is alisha5872@hotmail.com

Cheers,
