DRESS & WEATHER: 

Dress for the training is casual.  Days will be warm to hot (low 80s is normal, 90s possible) and evenings can be cool (50s).  Classroom temperatures vary, so it is advisable to wear layers. 

TRAVEL AND LOGISTICS:

Moscow, Idaho, is a pleasant community of 25,000 and is located in a lovely piece of Creation.

Airports: 

1) Moscow/Pullman Airport (PUW). Around 6 miles from the school. It is very convenient, but not always the cheapest option. This is a small commercial airport served by Alaska/Horizon through the Seattle hub.  

2) Lewiston, Idaho (LWS).  Around 35 miles from the school. This is a small commercial airport served by Delta and United.  

3) Spokane, WA. (GEG). Around 87 miles from the school, but there is never any traffic, so it takes only about 90 minutes. This is a medium-sized airport, but the biggest in the Inland Northwest. This airport is often the cheapest due to competition and volume. Airlines include Alaska, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, and United. 

Hotels: Several hotels are within walking distance of the school.  Make your reservations early! 

  • The Best Western Plus University Inn (less than half a mile from the school). 
    • The Best Western provides complimentary shuttles to the Moscow/Pullman airport.

  • La Quinta Inn and Suites (about 1 mile away from the school).
