Administration Boot Camp |
Basic (core) Administrative duties and functions. | New administrators, board members, etc. |
Logos Principals and Superintendent |
Latin Boot Camp |
We can’t teach all of Latin, but we can get you into the game. The goal is not to learn how to teach Latin (those sessions are on Wed/Thurs) but rather to learn Latin. | Those new to Latin, or needing a refresher. Non-Latin teachers who want the basics. | Logos Latin Teacher |
Worldview & Culture |
Five broader sessions examining Christian worldview —all through Scripture’s authoritative lens. |
Everyone. | Schedule and Speakers to be determined. |
Teaching Lab Practicum |
A practical, hands-on teaching lab: learn how to distinguish an effective lesson from an ineffective one. A few volunteer teachers must prepare in advance, deliver a lesson during the practicum, and then receive feedback. Limited attendance. More information to come. | Administrators and Teachers | Dr. Chris Schlect, former Logos Teacher |
Logic Boot Camp |
We can’t teach the entire field of Logic, but we can provide a broad overview with enough detail to grasp the subject. | New Logic teachers and other teachers who want to integrate logic principles and terminology into their subjects. | Mark Wilson, Logos Logic Teacher |
Rhetoric Boot Camp |
Learn the principles of rhetoric and apply them with a series of hands-on exercises and activities designed to give you a good handle on the subject. The goal is not to learn to teach rhetoric (those sessions are on Wed/Thurs) but rather to learn the theory, principles, and application of classical rhetoric. | New rhetoric teachers, teachers who want to incorporate principles of ethos, pathos, and logos into their teaching or speaking, and anyone who wants to understand and use classical rhetoric. | Mackenzie Miller, Logos Rhetoric Teacher |
