Secondary

Guest Speaker: On Thursday, April 2, we will have a special guest speaker coming to speak to our Modern US History class. He is Dr. Larry Johnston, a strong Christian and a retired physicist. Dr. Johnston helped develop the detonator for the atomic bombs used on Japan. He not only worked on the original bomb and saw the detonation in New Mexico in July of 1945, he was on observation planes that followed the bombers over Hiroshima and Nagasaki, August 6 and 9. Since Dr. Johnston has such a unique story, parents and friends are welcome to stop by, if you are able. He will be speaking in the auditorium at 1:30 – 2:20 on Thursday.
