Substitute Appreciation: This year, Logos substitutes have covered over 880 classroom hours! THANK YOU! All 2023/2024 substitutes, and those of you interested in joining this amazing group next year, are invited to stop in the Logos West lunchroom for refreshments and summer/fall information tomorrow, May 9th, from 7:45-8:45 AM & 2:45-3:45 PM.
Board Election: A final reminder for all Logos parents to vote for the Logos board, if you haven’t already. Voting is through Friday, May 10th, end of the day. See the April 29th email for instructions. Contact Loren Euhus with questions.

Monday, May 20: There is no school on May 20th for elementary students.
————- SECONDARY ————
New Hires: We are pleased to announce that Mrs. Sheila Coates and Mrs. Leah Merkle will join the teaching staff next year. Mrs. Coates will teach pre-algebra and one section of Logic (Mrs. Lopez will teach Algebra and Mr. Wilson will continue to teach the second section of Logic). Mrs. Merkle will teach Functions and Statistics and one section of Algebra II (Mr. Wilson will teach the second section of Algebra II).
Finals: Finals week is May 20-24. School will end each day at the normal time (3:20 pm) except for Friday when students will be released at 12:05 immediately after locker inspections. The detailed Finals schedule will be released next week.
————- ACTIVITIES ————
HS Drama Auditions: All current 8th-11th grade students are welcome to audition for the varsity production of Mousetrap on May 13th at 7:00 pm. Students need to bring a completed audition form with them to the audition. Forms are available in the main office.
Logos Summer Camps: Registration is open. Camp options include Mr. Porras’ Speed and Powerlifting camps. Mr. Jeschke is offering a Rifle Safety and Marksmanship camp. One of our most popular camps each year is Mrs. Kern’s painting camp which will be available for registration next week. Be sure to check out all the great options here.
Physicals for next year: Be sure to plan for physicals and IQ forms. You can update your documents on your Dragonfly accounts for next year. Physicals and IQ forms after May 1st are acceptable for the next school year. The Logos Forms and Fees page has all the information about what documents are needed and the necessary forms. You will also be able to see how to create your Dragonfly account if you do not already have one.
