Picture Retakes are on Monday Oct. 11th for any student who missed or wants to get a retake. Retakes are only at the main campus – not at all 3 campuses. Come to the main campus gym starting at 7:30am – plenty of time to class before school starts.
Activities Department: Varsity Drama presents the Fall production of You Can’t Take it With You directed by Miss Elli Sensing. Opening Night is Thursday evening, October 7, at 6:00 pm. Other performances are Saturday, October 9, and Friday October 15. Please come and enjoy the show!
Fightin’ Knight Day: Thursday is a Fightin’ Knight Day in support of the Opening Night.
Recess Volunteers. Parent volunteers needed! We want to reduce the number of recess duties for our full-time teachers; some are assigned 5 recesses a week. It’s a great way to help Logos out, and give a teacher a short break during the day. Contact Sandy Hoeft.
————- ELEMENTARY ————-
Teaching Position: Our beloved preschool teacher, Mrs. McMurray, needs to reduce her hours so we find ourselves in a position where we need to hire an afternoon preschool teacher. This position could begin as soon as the start of the second quarter. If you are interested, please send your resume to Tracie Handel by this Friday (10/8).
Friendship Talks: Mr. Becker has been meeting with classrooms in grades 3-6 on the main campus to talk with the students about friendship. Topics discussed included what are healthy friendships and the possible pitfalls with having best friends. The classes also talked together about ways to fix and prevent problems in friendships. These were enjoyable quick chats with the classes.
Speech Meet for Logos South will be on Thursday, October 14th. First grade presentations begin at 8:40; Second grade presentations begin at 10:30. Please see your child’s HAS for more information.

PSAT: The 10th and 11th graders will be taking the PSAT the morning of October 13 in the gym.
Secondary Assembly: We will have an assembly next Tuesday 10/12 from 8:25-9:15 in the gym. Pastor Kirk Brower will be speaking on the topic of abortion. Parents are welcome to attend.
