Elementary
Elementary Awards Ceremony: This Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 we will meet in the gym to distribute year-end awards to our 1st – 6th grade students. After the ceremony the students will return to their classrooms for a few minutes to receive their report cards and to say farewell. Students should wear their dress uniform for this event.
Elementary Field Day: Field Day is a parent drop-off and pick-up event. Some families like to pack a picnic lunch and eat in the park and stay for the activities (races, tug-o-war, capture the flag, etc.). Play clothes are welcome! Rain cancels.
Secondary
Secondary Awards Night: Secondary Awards Night will take place May 26th at 7:00. This is a time for secondary students and their families to come and participate as we acknowledge the good work that our students and staff have done. The school dress uniform or nice church clothes are appropriate attire for this event.
Summer League Basketball: Practice starts Tuesday, May 31 from 7-9 PM. See the Principal’s Page for details.

2011-12 Openings:
Algebra II: We are currently in need of a secondary math teacher to teach one class of Algebra II to our 10th graders. See Matt Whitling for details.
Janitor: Mrs. Carroll will be working full-time at Hall Closet Uniforms next year, and therefore we have a part-time janitorial opening in the afternoons. Mrs. Carroll has been a cheerful part of our staff for the past five years, and we are excited for her to have this full-time opportunity. See Tom Garfield for details on this opening.
Secretary (Afternoons): Miss Laura Shaw is interested in becoming a teacher in the near future, and therefore we have a part-time secretarial opening in the afternoons. We will miss having Laura in the front office next year, but we are excited about her interest in teaching. See Tom Garfield for details on this opening.
Cheers,
Matt Whitling
