Elementary
4th grade: We are very pleased to welcome Mrs. Paula Jones as the full-time 4th grade teacher for the upcoming school year. Paula has been team teaching in 4th grade with Mrs. Janna Shaw for the past few years, and while we will miss Janna in the elementary, we are excited to have her teaching more in the secondary (Rhetoric I & O.T. Survey).
Elementary PE: Our elementary PE program is staffed by volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering to help out by teaching your child’s PE class, please contact me this summer. Each PE class meets twice a week for 30 minutes.
Secondary
New Teachers: We are very pleased to welcome the following teachers to our secondary program.
Mr. Brian Kohl: Latin 7, 8, & Greek
Mrs. Rebekah Merkle: Classical Literature & British Literature
Mr. CJ Bowen: New Testament Survey
Miss Melissa Dow: Rhetoric IV & Civics
Miss Katie McDonald: US History & Classical History
We are grateful for the high caliber teachers that God has blessed the school with over the years, and we are confident that these new hires will even further enhance the environment at Logos next year.
Senior Course Options: Those who will be participating in senior course options (independent studies, internships, or college courses) should be starting to construct their proposals. These are due on August 9 to Mr. Whitling via email, or earlier if possible.
