Dear Parents and Friends,

Greetings. This year’s Friends of Logos auction/dessert was absolutely delightful! Thank you to the many people who were able to attend and/or support Logos through this effort. Many folks have asked what we netted and it looks like it was about $30,000! This goes a long way to meeting our Annual Fund goal of $145,000 by June 30.
There were many unique and fun elements to the evening:
*The desserts were lovely and tasty cupcakes. Thanks to Jessica Lucas (’94) for creating these.
*Who would’ve thought a pool party would go for $9,000?!
*The personal parking space was purchased by another Crapuchettes family member – Jonathan.
*Silent Auctions A & B, as well as the live items were varied, but reflected the great NW area we live in, e.g. hunting and fishing trips, lakeside cabin vacation, etc.
*I was finally able to reveal to all present, and now to you, that we are greatly blessed to have hired Mr. Gene Liechty as our new Development Director! Many folks remember when the Liechtys lived here about eleven years ago. Gene has been the Development Director for Cary Christian School (ACCS sister school) in North Carolina for ten years. He and his family will be moving to Moscow this July.

I want to personally thank Kelly Driskill for the many hours of work she put in to make the night a success! She and other Logos Moms, particularly Paula Casebolt, Rachel Jankovic, and Lauren McMurray, have stepped in to help us fill the breach of not having a Development Director. This was the second annual Friends of Logos that the Logos Moms put together. I am confident that these ladies, along with Gwen Spencer and me, are thrilled (and relieved) to have Gene come and take up the mantle of coordinating this and other funding/marketing events for Logos!
