Readings in Dante – Mrs. Marston (juniors and seniors only)

In this elective students will read orally through all of Dante’s Inferno, Purgatorio, and some of Paradiso. Because a classical background is necessary in understanding many of his allusions, enrollment is restricted to juniors and seniors who are currently taking Classical Lit, or have already done so. The students are responsible for buying their own copy of Musa’s translation of the entire work. All reading is done in class.
