LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – 2022/23 #31  (May 3, 2023)

Tuition Savings.  Come learn about Idaho’s 529 Plan, a simple and unique way to pay tuition and lower your Idaho state taxable income with the same dollars.  Sound too good to be true? It’s not and can be beneficial for everyone sacrificing to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  Hosted by Andrew Nicholas and Derek Monjure.  Light refreshments will be provided.  May 10, 7 PM, at the Logos School Auditorium.  

Annual Giving Day – Logos School: Our annual giving day fundraiser is underway and Logos has already won the prize for the first gift! If you are interested in helping families with Financial Aid, improving the Security and Safety at our three campuses, and helping with Deferred Maintenance,

Grandparents’ Day! This Friday, May 5th.  Details are on our website here.  

Grandparents’ Day Ball:  Spring has come and so have the grandparents! Come to the Grandparents’ Day Ball this Friday! 6:00-7:30 for the elementary, 7:30-8:00 secondary dance practice, and 8:00-10:00 for the secondary. Called by Mrs. Rauch! $5 per person and $15 per family. The dress code for men is dress shirts, ties, and slacks or uniform jeans. The dress code for ladies is below-the-knee length dresses/skirts, modest necklines, no strapless tops, halter tops, or spaghetti straps. Clean athletic shoes on the floor only; no dress shoes or high heels.

Sixth Grade Play: Tomorrow (Thursday) Miss Anderson’s class will be performing their classroom play. The show will begin at 8:35 AM in the gym. All are welcome.

————- SECONDARY  ————  

Personal Finance Elective:  The secondary school is looking for a volunteer parent (or grandparent) willing to teach personal finance at the 7th-9th grade level.   Elective periods will be Mondays and Fridays 12:40-1:30pm.  Please contact Wally Wiggins wwiggins@logosschool.com

Summer Camps: Logos will offer a wide variety of camps this summer. Follow this link to see the available camps. More camps will be added, so check back regularly. All registration must be done online. Popular returning camps include Little Lady volleyball with Coach Whitling and a camping excursion with Mr. Brockwalder. Sign up early to reserve your space. Registration is open for most camps now.  Save money by registering early.  

Physicals for 2023-24: If your student needs a physical for next year. You can find physical and Interim Questionnaire form requirements on the Logos Forms and Fees page. All forms must be dated after May 1, 2023. Story Family Medicine will again offer physicals in support of our Logos Training program. Watch for those dates to be announced soon.  

Coaching positions: Logos School is seeking applicants to complete our coaching staff for next year at various levels. If you are interested in coaching volleyball, golf, cross country, or any sports Logos offers, please contact Patrick Lopez, AD, at plopez@logosschool.com
