LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – 2022/23 #29  (Apr 19, 2023)

Tuition Savings.  Come learn about Idaho’s 529 Plan, a simple and unique way to pay tuition and lower your Idaho state taxable income with the same dollars.  Sound too good to be true? It’s not and can be beneficial for everyone sacrificing to raise their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  Hosted by Andrew Nicholas and Derek Monjure.  Light refreshments will be provided.  May 10, 7 PM, at the Logos School Auditorium.  

————-  ELEMENTARY  ————- 

Renee Shepard: We are very pleased to announce that Mrs. Shepard has been hired to teach two sections of preschool next year! We are excited to have her join the team at Logos East.

Jackie Darrah: We are also very pleased to announce that Mrs. Darrah has been hired to teach ½ time 4th grade in the mornings.  She will be partnering with Mrs. Sumpter who will continue to teach 4th grade in the afternoon.  We are also excited to have her at Logos West.

Staff Openings:

  • Kindergarten:  If you are interested in joining our excellent team of kindergarten teachers next year, please contact Kalen Brockwalder for more information. 
  • Preschool:  We are seeking one more talented teacher to serve in this important role next year. If you are interested in applying to teach, please contact Kalen Brockwalder.

Staff Hirings:  We are very pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Jones has been hired to teach Algebra II, Physical Science, and Rhetoric III.  Mr. Jones has 26 years of teaching experience and is coming to us from Veritas School in Newberg, OR. 

We are also very pleased to announce that Mrs. Kim Aston is moving from the lower elementary to the secondary school to teach Spanish III.

Chamber Choir: Congratulations to the Chamber Choir for earning a unanimous superior, the highest rating available at the District Choral Festival today. Well Done to Mr. Snell and the Chamber Choir!

Varsity VB Coach: Logos School is seeking a Varsity VB coach for 2023. If you would like to be considered for this position or if you would be interested in coaching volleyball at any level, please contact Patrick Lopez, AD
