LOGOS SCHOOL UPDATE – 2022/23 #25  (Mar 22, 2023)

————-  GENERAL  ————-

RTP for 23/24.  Logos School’s affordable high-quality education is supported by need-based financial assistance, which we call “RTP” – Reduced Tuition Plan.  From the Logos website:

“Since opening our doors in 1981, Logos School has not turned away one family unable to afford the entire tuition. Regarding any tuition concerns….please don’t let a possible financial burden keep you from applying. We seek to strengthen families, not profit margins.”

The deadline to apply for RTP for 2023/24 is April 15.  Details and instructions are on our website at https://logosschool.com/admissions/financial-aid/   If you have any questions about RTP, contact Matt Whiting.

Fourth Grade Play:  This Friday Mrs. Sumpter’s class will be performing their classroom play. The show will open with a 6th grade (Becker/Anderson) recitation at 8:35 in the gym. All are welcome.

Staff Updates:

  • Our fantastic 4th-grade teacher, Sarah Morgan, has decided to return to her Texas roots and so will be leaving us.  We thank her for her hard work and dedication to her students.
  • Jacquie Snell will be moving from Kindergarten to full-time 4th grade. We are excited to have her join us at Logos West.
  • June Kern will be leaving the art instruction at Logos West to teach our new 5th-grade class this fall.  We are very excited to have Mrs. Kern in the classroom full-time.
  • Preschool: Our wonderful preschool teachers will be retiring at the end of this year.  They have both loved teaching preschool but would like to spend more time at home with family.  If you see Mrs. Sentz or Mrs. Aston, please thank them for the excellent work they have done in preschool.
