————- GENERAL ————-
Student Pick-Up – Please drive slowly and carefully while in the parking lots. Pedestrian traffic includes many children who are small and unpredictable; divers must exercise patience and extreme caution. Student drivers – please be especially slow and careful.
Q2 Report cards have been printed and sent home. If you need another one, the current report card can be found on FACTS Family Portal. Log on and go to “Student….Report Cards.”
Openings: We anticipate that we will have openings for teachers this coming school year. If you are interested in finding out more about teaching at Logos please email the appropriate principal: Mr. Wiggins (secondary), Mr. Becker (upper elementary), and Mr. Brockwalder (lower elementary).
Exciting News! Our dear Mrs. Karla Porras is expecting a baby in April! As Mrs. Porras will be moving on to more important things, we would like to see if anyone would be interested in filling her ½ time secretary role at Logos South. If you are interested in this role (beginning sometime in spring) please contact Kalen Brockwalder.
Reenrollment for current students is underway for 2023-24, due Jan 23rd. We are also accepting applications for new students, and will begin interviews soon (PK is already well underway). We aim to fill every class!
————- ELEMENTARY ————-
New Student! We are excited to welcome a new kindergartener to Logos this week.
Hospitality Talk – Mr. Becker will be going to upper elementary classrooms at Logos West to talk about hospitality. We are commanded in Scripture to practice hospitality. How do young students obey that command? The students will be bringing home some ideas. We will suggest ways to notice others and include them, at home or at school. For example, when the parents invite a family over for a meal we encourage the students to greet the guests at the door along with their dad and mom. We encourage parents to discuss other ways their children can be involved in showing hospitality.
Elementary Play: Logos South has an assembly this Friday. Mrs. Hawthorne’s class will be performing a great play from the book of Esther. The play will begin at 8:30 a.m. at Logos South. We will reserve the small parking area in front of the school (the normal teacher lot) for anyone that would be especially blessed by this convenient spot.

Knights Fest is Coming: Knights Fest is a three-day celebration scheduled for Wednesday through Friday, January 25-27. The theme for this year is “The Joy Of The Lord Is Our Strength” Nehemiah 8:10. Be on the lookout for further details via email.
