Grandparents’ Day Projects: Please keep these simple. We do not expect you to spend lots of time or money on this. If you run into trouble, please check with your classroom teacher for help.

————- SECONDARY ————-
New Hires: Please join us in thanking Mrs. Wendy Sensing and Mrs. Bekah Merkle who will finish this year as teachers in the secondary. Mrs. Sensing has taught 7th-grade History for the last three years and Mrs. Merkle has taught multiple literature, history, rhetoric, and apologetics classes throughout her 12- year tenure at Logos. We are pleased to announce that Mr. Daniel Newman has been hired to teach 11th-grade rhetoric and Mr. Jon Michael Porras has been hired to teach 7th and 11th-grade history and assist with 7/8th grade boys PE. Please thank and congratulate these teachers the next time you see them.
Sr. Thesis Judges Needed: The capstone project for our students at Logos is to write a 6,000-word thesis on a topic for which they are both passionate and for which they may hold a controversial position. Our seniors will be presenting their thesis starting on May 9th and running through May 20th. We can use the help of parent volunteers to serve as judges for the oral presentations. For those parents that have yet to have a 12th-grade student at Logos, this is a great opportunity to get a snapshot of how your students will be challenged to think deeply and articulate clearly during this capstone event of their Logos career. For more information or to sign up, please contact Mrs. Miller.
Secondary Assembly on Tuesday, May 3. Pastor Doug Wilson will be presenting on the topic of Pornography for our May assembly. All secondary dads are invited to show up at 7:45 am in the gym to partake in coffee, donuts, and conversation with Pastor Wilson and Principal Wiggins before Pastor Wilson addresses the student body at 8:25 am.
