Fightn’ Knight Day: This Thursday, September 8th, students are allowed to wear nice jeans and their Fightn’ Knight shirts to show support for our high school cross country team who will run in a “home” meet that evening at Troy High School (see the school calendar for details).

Picture day attire is Friday dress uniforms. Photo envelopes will be coming home the week before pictures for each campus.
Mentor Families: If you are new to Logos and have felt overwhelmed by the newness of it all, we have veteran Logos families who would love to be a resource to you. ————- ELEMENTARY ————-
Speech Meet: Encourage your children (1st-6th grade) to begin memorizing their speech meet parts early. The dinner table is a great place to practice. Start by having each child read through his selection, beginning and ending with the title and author. The next night have them recite as much as they can, reading the remainder that has not been memorized yet. By the time the speech meet comes around, the whole family will be ready to hit the stage and perform!
Assembly Accompaniment Tryouts: 4th – 6th grade students are welcome to try out to accompany singing at elementary assemblies. Tryouts will take place Thursday, September 8 after their lunch. Student accompanists receive one free hot lunch for every assembly they accompany.
————- SECONDARY ————-
Secondary Assembly on September 13th: Logos Dads, our first worldview assembly will be held on Tuesday, September 13th from 12:40-1:30 pm in the Logos Gym. The topic is “What is the Gospel?” presented by Pastor Toby Sumpter. Mr. Whitling would like to invite all of you to join him, The Logos Principals, and Pastor Sumpter for lunch and fellowship starting at 12 noon. We will be supplying Wooster’s Pizza for $2 a slice and refreshments. If you would like to attend please RSVP by Friday, September 9 to the Logos Office so we know how much pizza to order. We look forward to seeing you!

Fall Sports Picture Day: All Fall sports pictures will be taken on Wednesday, September 14th. Please have your student come to school with a clean uniform.
Varsity Football Home Opener: The varsity football team will host Kamiah on Friday night at 7:00 pm at Logos Field.
