Saturday Hoops: All Logos 2nd through 6th grade boys are cordially invited to participate in a series of basketball clinics that will focus on the fundamentals of shooting, passing, dribbling, and defense. All clinics will take place on Saturdays from 9 – 11 AM in the Logos gym and will be coached and directed by Jed Whitling and Logos High School basketball players on the following dates: Dec. 10, 17 & Jan. 7, 14. The cost is $25 for all four clinics. This is a great way to spend a Saturday morning and to get ready for the upcoming Moscow Parks and Recreation season. Registration (form attached) is due December 2, this Friday! We are going to limit enrollment to the first 40 players.

Midterms: Please remember to return your midterms by November 30.

Secondary Student Surveys

We have our secondary students evaluate each class they take twice a year. Here are a few things that students had to say about Mr. Dickison this semester

-He is calmly and firmly professional.

-I really never enjoyed poetry, but reading some before we start class has really gotten me to think and listen to poetry again.

-He is kind and gracious and he does a great job of reviewing for quizzes.

-Mr. Dickison has brought a new style of teaching to us, and I am finding that with it I have been learning to understand things I read, faster than I used to-Thank you!

-Mr. Dickison is an amazing teacher! I love being in his class. His material is always interesting and he asks questions I’ve never thought about before.

-Mr. Dickison is kind of strict (which is good).

-Mr. Dickison is a humorous philosopher, an archetype all too rare in our world.

-One of the best teachers in Logos!

-Mr. Dickison is copious, eclectic and he dresses quite smartly.

-He is kind and strict without being mean.

-Mr. Dickison has greatly challenged me to be a better speaker and writer this year.

-Mr. Dickison is so fun! History is my favorite class. I really enjoy learning about all the ancient civilizations and drawing maps. They help me to realize where everything was located, which is really helpful.

-Mr. Dickison is one of my favorite teachers. Although the work is hard it is fun to participate and learn from such an intelligent teacher. I can’t wait until next class every day.

Cheers,

Matt Whitling
